This new AGVEE cable converts a standard USB-A port into a 5 V DC barrel output for routers, CCTV cameras, LED strips, scanners and similar 5 V equipment. The package includes six additional adapter tips ranging from 5.5×2.5 mm down to 2.5×0.7 mm so one cord fits many centre-positive devices. Builders needing higher than 2.4 A or a locking connector should look elsewhere.

Thermals Noise and Power Delivery

The cord uses 18 AWG tinned-copper conductors and a TPE jacket rated down to -50 °C, so it stays flexible and cool during continuous 5 V loads. Current is negotiated by the D+/D- short on the USB end: legacy adapters supply 500 mA, BC1.2 units up to 1.5 A, MFi chargers up to 1 A and select fast-charge bricks up to 2.4 A. No active cooling or fan noise is involved.
