S05 Bio-Cellulose Driver Pair

The AIAIAI S05 is a pair of 40mm speaker units built with stiff Bio-Cellulose diaphragms. They are designed for owners of TMA-2 modular headphones who want more defined high-frequency details, a pronounced mid-range, better dynamics and natural tonality.

Check TMA-2 Compatibility First

These units only work with the AIAIAI TMA-2 headphone system. Verify that your existing headband, cable and ear pads are part of that modular platform before ordering. The speakers are delivered as a matched pair for stereo replacement or a fresh build.

Passive Units Need No Power

The drivers draw no electricity of their own and add no active cooling or noise. Thermal output and fan noise are therefore zero. Overall sound level and power consumption depend entirely on the amplifier or device driving the headphones.

The S05 is a speaker-unit pair only. Cables, ear pads, headband and any other TMA-2 modules are sold separately.

The listing shows only one S05 model — are there different impedance or tuning versions to choose from?

Only the single S05 variant is listed, with a 40 mm Bio-Cellulose diaphragm tuned for defined highs, pronounced mids, better dynamics and natural tonality.

What does the 40 mm Bio-Cellulose driver actually change when the units are installed in a TMA-2 headphone?

The stiffer Bio-Cellulose diaphragm delivers more defined high-frequency detail, more pronounced mid-range, improved dynamics and a more natural tonal balance.
