60W T-Tip Magnetic Adapter for MacBook

This 60W AC adapter uses a magnetic T-tip connector to charge compatible MacBook Pro 13-inch Retina models from late 2012 through early 2015 and MacBook Air models after late 2012. It accepts a universal 100 to 240V input for worldwide use and delivers 16.5V at 3.65A output. The white unit is designed as a direct replacement for part numbers A1435, A1465, A1502 and A1425. It suits owners of those specific laptops who need a spare or replacement charger.

Sustained-load thermal behaviour

A built-in heat sink dissipates heat during the entire charging cycle, keeping the adapter running safe and cold under continuous 60W delivery. The laptop draws only the wattage it requires, so the same unit works with both 60W and 45W machines without forcing excess power. This thermal design supports reliable operation during extended charging sessions rather than only brief top-ups.

Compatibility check before ordering

Verify that your MacBook uses the magnetic T-tip connector and matches one of the listed model identifiers such as MD212, ME662, MGX72, MF839, MD223, MD711 or MJVM2. The adapter is not suitable for newer USB-C MacBooks or older MagSafe 1 L-tip models. Confirm your laptop’s part number against the supported A1435, A1465, A1502 or A1425 references before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the 60W adapter run hot when left plugged in all day?

Which Mac models must I already own for this T-tip charger to fit?

It fits MacBook Pro Retina 13-inch from Late 2012 through Early 2015 and MacBook Air 11-inch or 13-inch from Mid 2012 through Early 2015.
