Replacement Ear Pads for Sennheiser Headphones

These velour ear pads replace worn cushions on Sennheiser HD598, HD598SE, HD598CS, HD595, HD599 and HD599 SE models. They suit listeners who want to restore comfort and appearance without buying new headphones. The brown velour finish matches the original look of several listed models.

Compatibility With Specific Sennheiser Models

The pads are confirmed for HD515, HD518, HD555, HD595, HD598 and HD599 series headphones. If your model is not on this list, the pads will not fit correctly. Buyers who need cushions for other brands or newer Sennheiser lines should look elsewhere.

Simple Press-Fit Installation

Remove the old pads by pulling them off the mounting ring, then press the new pads into place until they seat evenly. The memory foam compresses during fitting, so apply firm pressure around the full circumference. A common issue is leaving a small gap that breaks the seal and reduces isolation.

Questions about this item

How much isolation do the velour pads give compared with the original leatherette ones?

Velour is breathable and softer, so it leaks more sound and blocks less outside noise than the stock leatherette pads on the HD598, HD599 or HD595 series.

What mounting style do these pads use to attach to the headphones?

They stretch over the existing plastic mounting ring on each earcup, the same way the factory pads fit on the HD598, HD598SE, HD598CS, HD595, HD599 and HD599 SE.

Will the inner diameter clear the driver housing on an HD598 without pressing on the foam cover?

Yes, the opening matches the original pad dimensions for the HD598, HD599, HD595 and related models, leaving the driver cover untouched.
