Server chassis for 19-inch racks

The AIC RMC-4S is a 4U rackmount chassis designed for 19-inch cabinets. It suits administrators building a custom server where a power supply will be sourced separately. The black aluminium front door and seven full-height expansion slots support standard server boards and add-in cards.

Check rack depth and drive needs

Verify that your cabinet depth accommodates a 4U enclosure and that the two included 92mm fans meet your airflow plan. The chassis provides three 5.25-inch and one 3.5-inch external bays plus two internal 3.5-inch bays. Front panel USB 3.0 ports are available for local media or diagnostics.

Replaces older 4U cases without USB 3.0

This unit upgrades from 4U enclosures that lack front USB 3.0 or use steel doors instead of aluminium. The jump is worthwhile when you need the faster front ports and the lighter door material while retaining seven full-height slots and the same drive bay layout.
