Purpose and audience

The AICHESON S035 is a laptop cooling pad designed for notebooks between 14 and 17.3 inches. It targets users who want extra airflow and an adjustable typing angle during long sessions.

Deciding specification

Five fans deliver the cooling performance: one 120 mm unit spinning at 1000 to 1400 RPM and four 70 mm units at 2600 to 3000 RPM. The metal mesh surface and variable speed control let you match airflow to workload.

Fit and alternatives

The pad suits owners of 15.6 to 17.3 inch laptops who need height settings from 2.4 to 4.8 inches and a built-in USB hub. Buyers with smaller ultraportables or those who need passive cooling should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much quieter is the 21 dB noise level compared with a typical office?

At under 21 dB the pad is quieter than a whisper, so it adds virtually no audible sound to a normal room.

What does the single USB-A cable actually power on the S035?

The supplied USB-A to USB-A cable draws 5 V from the laptop to run all five fans and the blue LED ring; the second port stays free for a mouse or drive.

Will the 15.95-inch wide metal mesh accept my 17.3-inch notebook without overhang?

Yes — the cooler is rated for laptops up to 17.3 inches and the mesh spans the full 15.95-inch width, so a 17.3-inch chassis sits fully supported.
