PTZ-X12-IP broadcast camcorder

The AIDA PTZ-X12-IP is a Full HD professional camcorder built for broadcast, education and live-production environments. It delivers 12x optical zoom and IP streaming so operators can capture distant subjects without moving the camera.

H.264 and H.265 IP streaming

Dual codec support lets the camera transmit H.264 or H.265 HEVC streams over IP networks. Integrated RS-232 and VISCA over IP control simplify remote operation and reduce cabling in multi-camera workflows.

3G-SDI HDMI USB 3.0 outputs

Simultaneous 3G-SDI, HDMI and USB 3.0 connections allow direct links to switchers, recorders and computers. RTSP and RTMP network outputs add streaming flexibility for fixed installations and mobile productions.

Questions about this item

Will the pan-tilt-zoom mechanism or the 12x optical zoom lens require periodic servicing?

The PTZ-X12-IP uses sealed motorised pan, tilt and zoom assemblies with no user-serviceable parts; routine maintenance is limited to keeping the front glass clean and verifying IP-stream settings.

What limits continuous operation when streaming at full resolution using H.264 or H.265?

Sustained streaming is constrained by the 3G-SDI and HDMI output bandwidth and the USB 3.0 link speed, which cap the maximum uncompressed data rate before compression takes over.

How much heat and noise does the camera generate during all-day IP streaming?

The compact chassis relies on passive cooling; with no moving cooling fans the unit runs silently and surface temperatures stay low enough for ceiling or wall mounting in quiet venues.
