4-Port Dual Monitor HDMI KVM Switch

The Aile Tech CKL-942HUA-2 lets one keyboard, one mouse and two monitors control four computers or laptops. It suits home-office workers, designers, editors and gamers who need to switch between several systems without duplicating peripherals. The unit also provides two extra USB 2.0 hub ports and audio switching for a tidy shared desk setup.

HDMI 2.0 limits resolution and refresh combinations

The switch conforms to the HDMI 2.0 standard and handles 4096x2160@60Hz, 3840x2160@60Hz, 2560x1440@144Hz and 1920x1080@144Hz with HDCP and automatic EDID. Each computer must supply two HDMI video connections to the corresponding IN A and IN B ports; VGA, DVI, DisplayPort or USB-C sources require reliable adapters that are not included. Adapters should not be used on both the computer and monitor side of the same video path.

Installation needs correct cabling

Connect each system with the supplied mini-USB cables — USB and HDMI ends go into the computer — and link both monitors to the two HDMI outputs. Wired remote, front-panel button, keyboard hotkeys, mouse-click and auto-scan modes are all available for switching. Missing or mismatched adapters for non-HDMI outputs are the most common cause of no signal or single-monitor operation.
