MICR toner for check printing

This aftermarket cartridge supplies magnetic black toner formulated for bank cheque and barcode output on compatible Xerox laser printers. It replaces OEM part 106R02777 and is built with new components in ISO-9001, ISO-9002 and ISO-14001 certified facilities. The cartridge yields approximately 3000 pages and does not void the printer warranty.

Low-maintenance consumable operation

Toner cartridges have no moving parts, so they add no audible noise or measurable heat beyond the printer’s normal fusing cycle. Power draw remains identical to an OEM cartridge because the electrical interface and toner formulation match the original specification. Routine replacement is the only thermal or acoustic event.

Fits listed Xerox Phaser and WorkCentre models

The cartridge installs directly in Xerox Phaser 3260, 3260DI, 3260DNI and WorkCentre 3215, 3215DNI, 3215NI, 3225, 3225DNI, 3225NI series printers designed for 110 V North American operation. It frees the user from sourcing OEM MICR supplies while maintaining magnetic readability for cheque clearing systems. Not suitable for printers that require non-MICR toner or operate on other voltages.

Questions about this item

How do I install the XER106R02777 cartridge in my Xerox Phaser 3260, and what step is often missed?

Open the front cover, remove the old cartridge, gently rock the new cartridge side-to-side five or six times to distribute the magnetic toner evenly, pull the sealing tape straight out, then slide the cartridge in until it clicks.

What maintenance or replacement will this MICR toner cartridge need later?

Replace the cartridge when print density drops or the printer signals low toner; the magnetic toner formulation does not require separate drum or developer maintenance for the 3000-page yield.

What limit appears first during sustained check-printing runs with this cartridge?

The 3000-page yield rating is the first limit; continuous high-coverage MICR printing may reach it faster than standard text documents.
