Compact dual-port car charger

The AINOPE AV801 is a 12 V cigarette-lighter adapter with two standard USB ports that each deliver up to 2.4 A for a combined 4.8 A output. Its zinc-alloy body measures 1.7" by .9" and sits nearly flush with the outlet, so it suits drivers who want fast charging for two devices without a bulky protrusion.

Upgrade from basic 1 A or 2.1 A chargers

A typical single-port charger supplies only 1 A or 2.1 A total, while this unit provides 2.4 A per port simultaneously. The jump is worthwhile when you regularly charge a phone and a tablet together on long trips and need both devices to regain power at full rated speed.

Fits any 12 V outlet with no extra hardware

The all-metal construction resists heat up to 300 °C and stays cool during extended use, eliminating the melting risk common with plastic adapters. It requires no special cable or vehicle modification — just insert it into the existing lighter socket and connect your existing USB cables to free up the outlet for other accessories.

Questions about this item

How large is the AV801 and will it sit flush in a 12 V cigarette lighter socket?

The charger measures 1.7 by 0.9 inches and is designed to sit almost flush with the outlet edge in most vehicles.

Do I need tools or wiring to install the dual-port charger, and what mistake should I avoid?

No tools are required; simply push the zinc-alloy body into the 12 V socket until it seats firmly, and avoid forcing it at an angle which can bend the contacts.

Will the metal body or the USB ports need any upkeep or replacement over time?

The all-zinc construction resists scratches and withstands 300 °C, so no maintenance is needed; the USB ports are rated for the life of the charger.
