Wireless Audio Adapter with Bypass

The Ainostone AS0401-GREY-2 is a Bluetooth 5.3 transmitter and receiver designed for live sound and home entertainment. It connects wired audio sources such as televisions, record players or soundbars to wireless headphones or speakers. The unit measures 3.3 in by 1.2 in by 0.47 in and weighs 0.181 kilograms, making it compact for desktop or shelf placement.

Dual-Stream Listening and TV Sharing

This adapter suits users who want to stream audio from a phone to a home stereo or send TV sound to two pairs of Bluetooth headphones simultaneously. The bypass mode allows a soundbar and headphones to operate together without re-cabling. Buyers needing to connect amplifiers, audio converters or relay devices that do not directly output sound should look at other solutions, as the manufacturer notes these are not supported.

45-Foot Wireless Range Decides Fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 45-foot Bluetooth 5.3 range in open space. This distance covers most living rooms and backyard setups for mobile listening. If the installation requires reliable transmission through walls or beyond that distance, a different wireless technology would be required.

Questions about this item

What cables do I need to connect this Ainostone AS0401-GREY-2 to my TV?

The box includes an optical audio cable, a 3.5 mm audio cable and a 3.5 mm to RCA cable, so you can use whichever matches your TV's output.

If I keep my wired soundbar connected, can the AS0401-GREY-2 send audio to two Bluetooth headphones at the same time?

Yes. In bypass mode the optical or AUX signal passes through to the soundbar while the transmitter pairs with two Bluetooth headphones simultaneously.

How do I confirm the AS0401-GREY-2 is paired and transmitting correctly?

The LCD display shows the active mode — TX, RX or BYPASS — and indicates when two devices are connected, so you can verify operation at a glance.
