What the kit contains

This Airfix De Havilland Tiger Moth kit is a 1/72 scale plastic model comprising 42 parts moulded in light grey. It is intended for adult hobbyists and collectors who enjoy building historic aircraft replicas.

Who this suits and who it does not

The set appeals to modellers wanting a compact biplane with two decal schemes and vintage-style packaging. It is not for buyers who need a display stand included or who prefer a kit that does not require separate paint and cement.

Scale and assembled footprint

The finished model measures approximately 4 inches long by 4.875 inches wide at 1/72 scale. This footprint decides whether the completed aircraft fits the available shelf or diorama space.

Questions about this item

How many parts need cement before the model is complete?

The kit contains 42 parts that must be assembled with plastic cement, which is not included in the box.

Does the finished model generate any heat or noise during display?

No, this is a static plastic model kit with no moving parts, electronics or power source, so it produces no heat or sound.

Which paint colours and cement must I supply before starting assembly?

The parts are moulded in light grey; you will need to provide your own plastic cement and any paint colours required for the two included decal schemes.
