Scale and contents

This Airfix kit reproduces the Westland Wessex HC.2 helicopter in 1/72 scale with 134 light-grey plastic parts. Three decal schemes are included so the finished model can represent different service markings. The assembled model measures approximately 11.45 inches long and 9.37 inches wide. Paint and cement are required to complete the build.

Skill level and requirements

The Level 2 rating suits modellers who have assembled a few kits and are comfortable with basic construction and decal application. Beginners seeking a first snap-together experience will find the need for glue and paint a barrier. Advanced builders looking for photo-etched detail or interior crew stations will not find those parts in this box.

Decal options

Three distinct marking schemes are supplied on the decal sheet, letting the builder choose one representation of the type. Only a single scheme can be applied to each completed airframe.
