Compact two-pack navigation set

This Airwheel set contains two mini metal compasses, one white and one black, each measuring 44 x 44 x 10 mm and weighing .033 kilograms. The aluminium-alloy bodies are rust-proof, wear-resistant and waterproof, while a stainless-steel pull ring lets you clip them to a zipper or strap for quick access.

Suited for casual orienteering, not precision survey

Hikers, campers, hunters and teachers who need a lightweight backup for general direction-finding will find the pair convenient. Users who require adjustable declination, a sighting mirror, luminous markings or a baseplate with map scales should look at dedicated orienteering models instead.

Pull-ring attachment changes carry options

The supplied silver-tone pull rings turn each compass into a zipper pull or key-ring charm, keeping navigation ready on a jacket, pack or lanyard without adding bulk. No extra pouches, lanyards or mounting hardware are included, so the rings are the only carry method provided.

Questions about this item

What must I already have to attach the 44 x 44 x 10 mm compass to my gear?

The compass includes a stainless-steel pull ring that clips directly onto a zipper puller, jacket strap, bag loop or key ring you already own. No extra hardware is needed.

Will the aluminium-alloy case and magnet interfere with a vintage mechanical watch or older GPS unit I keep in the same pocket?

The note warns against placing the compass near magnetic material to protect its own magnetism; it does not shield external devices, so keep older magnet-sensitive instruments a short distance away.

How do I verify the white and black compasses are reading correctly after I clip them on?

Hold each compass horizontally until the needle settles, rotate the housing until the needle aligns with the N mark on the dial, then confirm the bottom dial markings match your known surroundings.
