The AJA OG-FIDO-TR is a single-channel openGear card that converts between 3G-SDI and single-mode LC fiber. It handles video formats from 150 Mbps to 3 Gbps and complies with SMPTE-259, 292, 424 and 297 standards. Remote control and monitoring run through DashBoard software on Windows, macOS or Linux.

Replaces separate SDI and fiber gear

This card consolidates a standalone SDI-to-fiber converter and a fiber-to-SDI receiver into one openGear slot. The upgrade is worthwhile when a facility needs bidirectional 3G-SDI transport over distances up to 10 kilometers (32,808 feet) with automatic reclocking at 270 Mbps, 1.483 Gbps, 1.485 Gbps, 2.966 Gbps and 2.970 Gbps.

Fits high-density openGear frames

The module mounts in any compatible 2RU openGear frame such as the AJA OG-X-FR, drawing power and management from the frame's midplane. It frees rack space by eliminating external converter boxes and their power supplies while providing BNC and LC connectors on the card's rear module.
