  • Locking mini-XLR connector ensures secure, stable connection
  • 5 ft length gives freedom of movement in studio or booth
  • Designed for professional studio and DJ headphone use

Purpose-built coiled cable

The AKG EK300 is a 16.5 ft coiled plug-on cable designed for studio and DJ headphones. It features a locking mini-XLR connector that secures the link to compatible headphones. The coiled construction resists tangling and withstands repeated stretching in professional environments. This accessory replaces or extends the original cable on supported AKG models.

Ideal for fixed-headphone users

DJs and producers who need a long, durable tether for booth or studio work will benefit from the secure locking mechanism and generous reach. Users whose headphones use a different connector type, a straight cable preference, or a shorter fixed lead should look at other options. The coil adds bulk that may not suit portable listening.

Deciding specification

The locking mini-XLR connector is the single detail that determines fit; it only mates with headphones built for that specific interface. Verify the headphone socket before purchase. Cable length is 16.5 ft and the model designation is EK300.
