Product identity

The Akro-Mils 30930 Grey Utility Cart is a two-shelf polyethylene platform rated for 400 lb. It suits warehouses, workshops and gardeners who need a mobile, corrosion-resistant surface for tools, supplies or harvest bins.

Setup check

Verify that doorways and aisles accommodate the 28 in by 17 in shelf footprint and the 35 in handle height. Confirm the floor can tolerate polyurethane casters and that the side-pedal brakes engage on the two swivel wheels before loading.

Thermals noise power

The cart has no motor, fan or electrical draw, so it produces no heat and runs silently on its 5 in polyurethane wheels. Rigid and braked swivel casters keep rolling resistance low and prevent unwanted movement on inclines.

Questions about this item

Does the 30930 utility cart ship fully assembled or will I need to attach the 5 in polyurethane casters myself?

The cart arrives ready to use with the two rigid and two swivel casters already installed, so no caster assembly is required.

Should I choose the 400 lb capacity model for moving bagged concrete or the lighter version for garden tools?

This model is rated at 400 lb, making it suitable for bagged concrete, soil and heavy equipment as well as lighter garden loads.

Will the 28 by 17 in shelves hold a standard 28 in wide storage tote without overhang?

Each shelf measures 28 in long by 17 in wide with a 2 1/2 in lip, so a 28 in wide tote will sit flush with the edges.
