Stackable hanging storage bins

This twelve-pack of blue plastic bins is built for home-office and workshop organisation. Each unit measures 10.87 by 5.5 by 5 inches and can stack securely on a shelf or hang from Akro-Mils louvered racks, panels or carts. The corrosion-proof material resists weak acids and alkalis, making the bins suitable for a range of indoor environments. They are sold new and ready for immediate use.

Thermals noise and power draw

As passive plastic containers the bins generate no heat, emit no sound and draw no electricity during normal use. Their structural rigidity comes from moulded ribs rather than moving parts, so there are no fans or motors to fail. Temperature fluctuations in the room do not affect the bins’ shape or stacking ability. No power supply or cooling consideration is required.

Optional dividers lids and labels

Length and width dividers can be added to split each bin into smaller compartments for screws, cables or stationery. Clear lids are available to keep dust out while keeping contents visible. A variety of labeling options lets users mark bins for quick identification without permanent markers. These accessories are sold separately and simply slot into the moulded channels.

Questions about this item

How do I hang these bins on a louvered rack without them coming loose?

The bins have built-in hang slots that engage the louvered rack rails; push each bin upward until the rear lip locks into the rail, then pull down gently to seat it — skipping the upward push is the step that leaves bins unsecured.

What parts might I need to replace after extended use?

Optional length and width dividers can crack if overloaded, and clear lids may scratch; both are sold separately and can be swapped without tools.

At what point will the bins stop stacking safely under sustained weight?

The bins are designed to stack directly on one another, but stability decreases once the stack height exceeds the depth of the bottom bin; keep stacks low enough that the top bin remains fully supported by the bin below.
