Floor Lock Plate for Caster Mounting

This floor lock plate secures wheeled equipment by extending a steel foot to the ground. It fits casters with a 5 5/64 inch mounting height and accepts wheels up to 4 inches in diameter. The unit is built for yard carts and wheelbarrows that need a stable parking position.

Bolt Pattern and Height Limits

The mounting plate measures 4 by 4-1/2 inches with two bolt hole spacings: 2-5/8 by 3-5/8 inches inside and 3 by 3 inches outside. Retracted height is 5 5/64 inches and extended height reaches 6 inches. No other mounting patterns or height ranges are supported by this model.

Verify Caster Height and Plate Clearance

Before ordering, confirm your caster mounting height matches 5 5/64 inches exactly. Ensure the 4 by 4-1/2 inch plate fits the frame without interference. The lock is designed for 4 inch wheels only; larger or smaller wheels will not engage correctly.

Questions about this item

Which floor-lock height matches my casters?

Choose this model when your casters have a 5 5/64 in mounting height and 4 in wheel diameter; the lock extends to 6 in.

What does the 6 in extended height mean once installed?

When the pedal is pressed the lock reaches 6 in from the floor, holding the cart stationary at that working height.

How does the B bolt-hole pattern limit mounting options?

The plate measures 4 in x 4-1/2 in with 2-5/8 in x 3-5/8 in inside and 3 in x 3 in outside spacing, so it only fits frames drilled to that B pattern.
