Zoro Select 32J814 Swivel Stem Caster

The Zoro Select 32J814 is a swivel stem caster built for wheelbarrows and carts. It carries a 250 lb load rating and rolls on a 5 inch polyurethane wheel. The non-marking tread protects floor surfaces during use. This new caster suits maintenance crews and DIY owners moving heavy loads.

Friction-ring stem fits 1 in x 2-1/2 in mounts

The friction-ring stem measures 1 inch by 2-1/2 inches and presses into matching sockets without tools. A Delrin bearing keeps the 5 13/16 inch mounting height smooth under load. Steel frame with zinc-plated finish resists corrosion in outdoor conditions. The single-wheel design frees up deck space on narrow carts.

250 lb capacity handles typical yard loads

The 250 lb rating covers most garden, construction and shop materials up to 299 lb total weight. Polyurethane tread absorbs vibration on rough pavement and grass. The caster reaches its limit when combined equipment weight exceeds the rated capacity. California Proposition 65 warnings apply for chemical exposure.

Questions about this item

How long will the Delrin bearing last under the full 250 lb load?

The Delrin bearing is rated for the caster's 250 lb capacity; actual life depends on floor surface, speed and duty cycle.

Does the zinc-plated frame or polyurethane wheel generate noticeable heat or noise during continuous rolling?

Polyurethane on Delrin runs quietly with minimal heat buildup; the zinc-plated steel frame adds no audible vibration.

What stem socket or mounting hardware must I already have to install the 1 in x 2-1/2 in friction-ring stem?

You need a 1 in diameter socket or tube at least 2-1/2 in deep to accept the friction-ring stem.
