Rigid NSF-Listed Plate Caster

This rigid plate caster is built for equipment that must roll straight under a 375 lb load. The polyurethane wheel resists marking floors and suits indoor carts, work tables or light industrial dollies. NSF listing confirms it meets sanitation standards for food-service or healthcare environments. The fixed housing keeps travel linear without swivel movement.

Suited for straight-line transport only

Buyers needing steering capability should choose a swivel caster instead. The unit has no brake, so it cannot hold position on ramps or uneven floors. Applications requiring a locking swivel or total-lock mechanism will need different hardware. The single-wheel design also limits load distribution compared to dual-wheel sets.

375 lb load rating decides fit

Verify the combined weight of cart plus contents stays at or below this figure before installing. Exceeding the rating risks wheel deformation, core failure or premature wear. The 4 in diameter and 1 1/2 in width are fixed dimensions that determine clearance and rolling resistance. Match these specs to the equipment drawing for a correct fit.

Questions about this item

How much weight can the 4 in polyurethane wheel support before it reaches its load limit?

The caster is rated for 375 lb, so that is the maximum load the wheel can carry.

Does the caster generate noticeable heat or noise during continuous rolling on hard floors?

The polyurethane tread on a plastic core runs quietly and does not heat up under normal all-day use.

What mounting hardware is required to attach the rigid plate to my cart?

The top plate has bolt holes; you will need matching bolts, washers and nuts to secure it to the cart frame.
