350 lb Plate Caster

The ZORO SELECT 33J003 is a swivel plate caster rated for 350 lb. It uses a 5 in polyolefin wheel with a matching polyolefin core. The tread is non-marking and shaped to a standard profile. This caster suits carts, wheelbarrows and similar mobile equipment.

NSF Listing and Prop 65 Warnings

The caster carries an NSF listing for sanitation compliance. California Proposition 65 notices indicate the product contains chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. No swivel lock or brake is included with this unit.

Swivel-Only Mobility Limits

The swivel plate provides full directional movement but lacks a locking mechanism. Without a brake the caster cannot hold a loaded cart on an incline. The single-wheel design and 1 1/2 in width limit stability compared with dual-wheel or wider-tread alternatives.

Questions about this item

Will the polyolefin wheel need replacement on rough concrete?

The 5 in polyolefin wheel resists flat-spotting and is non-marking, so it lasts longer on rough surfaces than softer treads; inspect annually for chunking or bearing play.

What limits the 350 lb rating during continuous rolling?

The swivel plate has no lock or brake, so sustained side loads or ramp use can exceed the 350 lb capacity before the wheel itself fails.

Does the caster run hot or draw extra power under all-day use?

No motor or electrical parts are present; the polyolefin wheel generates negligible heat and adds no power draw during constant operation.
