ZORO SELECT 33J016 Swivel Plate Caster

The ZORO SELECT 33J016 is a swivel plate caster with a side brake, built for 350 lb load rating. It fits wheelbarrows, carts and similar yard equipment where a single 5 in polyolefin wheel is required. The non‑marking tread protects floors while the plate mount simplifies installation on flat frames.

Suited for light‑duty yard carts

This caster suits builders who need a braked swivel wheel for occasional moving of moderate loads on smooth surfaces. It is not for applications that require a swivel lock, higher capacity than 350 lb, or a different wheel material such as rubber or polyurethane. Buyers needing multiple wheels or a rigid‑only caster should look elsewhere.

350 lb load rating on a 5 in polyolefin wheel

The single specification that decides fit is the 350 lb load rating combined with a 5 in diameter polyolefin wheel and side brake. If your equipment demands a higher rating, a larger diameter, a swivel lock or a non‑polyolefin tread, this model will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 350 lb caster produce when it runs all day?

The caster has no motor or powered parts, so it generates no heat and no audible noise during continuous use.

What mounting hardware must I already own to install the plate caster?

You need bolts or screws that match the plate's hole pattern and a wrench or socket set to secure the caster to your cart or wheelbarrow.

Will the 5 in polyolefin wheel roll smoothly on the older steel axle I plan to keep?

The wheel uses a plain polyolefin core that rotates directly on the caster's swivel raceway, so it does not depend on an external axle.
