Lightweight Folding Table

The Alera ALE65600 is a rectangular folding table built with a polyethylene top and a platinum finish. It measures 72 inches wide by 30 inches deep and stands 29 inches high. The lightweight design makes it simple to move and set up for temporary workstations or events.

Upgrade From Basic Folding Tables

This model replaces flimsy plastic tables that dent, scratch or absorb water. The polyethylene surface resists all three while supporting up to 500 lbs of evenly distributed weight. The jump is worth it when you need a surface that survives daily setup and teardown without showing wear.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous heavy loads the reinforced frame and rigid top maintain a flat working plane without bowing. The water-resistant surface does not degrade when exposed to spills or humidity over long periods. Legs lock securely in the open position to prevent accidental collapse during extended use.

Questions about this item

How much floor space does the 72w x 30d top occupy when the table is open?

The rectangular top measures 72 inches wide by 30 inches deep, so allow at least that footprint plus a few inches of clearance around the edges.

What is the step people most often miss when unfolding the steel frame?

Pull each leg until the gravity lock clicks audibly into the open position; an unlatched leg can collapse under load.

How should the polyethylene surface be cleaned to keep its dent and scratch resistance?

Wipe with mild soap and water, then dry with a soft cloth; avoid abrasive pads or harsh solvents that can dull the finish.
