Torchier Floor Lamp 72"H

The Alera ALELMPF52B is a 72-inch floor lamp finished in matte black for office or home workspaces. Its all-metal construction provides durability while the weighted 11-inch base resists tipping. A three-way rotary switch operates included compact fluorescent or LED bulbs. Buyers needing integrated smart-home controls or dimmable LED modules should look elsewhere.

Sustained Illumination Performance

The lamp bounces light off the ceiling to diffuse ambient illumination across the entire room. Three switch levels at 13, 19 and 26 watts let you match output to the task without glare. The 60-inch cord reaches standard outlets without an extension. It is not suited for directed task lighting or focused beam applications.

Three-Way Rotary Switch

A four-level rotary switch accommodates the included three-way CFL bulb and compatible LED replacements. Replacement bulb SDN-S7341 matches the 12/19/26 watt steps. ETL certification confirms electrical safety compliance. This single control scheme determines whether the lamp fits your preferred lighting workflow.

Questions about this item

Does the 13-watt CFL setting on the three-way rotary switch run cool enough to leave on all day?

The included three-way CFL bulb operates at 13, 19, or 26 watts; the lowest 13-watt setting generates minimal heat for continuous daily use.

Do I need to buy a three-way bulb separately, or is the correct 13/19/26-watt CFL already in the box?

A compatible three-way CFL bulb is included, so no separate purchase is required before first use.

Will the two-prong plug and 60-inch cord reach an older wall outlet behind a deep desk without an extension cord?

The lamp uses a standard two-prong plug with a 60-inch cord, typically long enough for most desk-to-outlet distances.
