Privacy Screen for Desk

The Alera ALEPP4718 is a polycarbonate privacy panel that clips to a desktop to create a semi-transparent barrier. Its frosted finish lets light pass through while blocking direct sight lines across a 47 inch width.

Open-plan workers and home offices

It suits anyone who needs visual separation on a desk up to one inch thick without permanent fixtures. Workers who require full-height enclosure, sound dampening or a panel wider than 47 inches should look elsewhere.

Desk thickness limit of one inch

The included metal brackets grip surfaces up to that thickness only; thicker tops cannot be secured. Clip-on installation requires no tools and the lightweight frame adds minimal load to the furniture.

Questions about this item

How much privacy does the 47 inch wide panel give at a typical desk?

What does the ANSI/BIFMA compliance actually cover for this screen?

It confirms the panel meets industry benchmarks for structural stability, durability and safety in office use, so the frame and clips hold up to daily bumping and repositioning.

Will the 1 7/8 inch brackets fit my 1 inch thick desktop?

Yes, the metal brackets are designed to clamp securely on desktops up to 1 inch thick, and the clip-on design needs no tools to install or remove.
