65" Straight Front Desk Shell

The Alera Valencia straight front desk shell provides a 65-inch wide commercial-grade laminate work surface with side panels in a gray finish. Water, scratch, and stain resistance protects the surface during daily office use. A charcoal accent line under the work surface adds a distinctive visual detail.

Suits single workstation setups

This desk shell fits professionals who need a durable, single-surface workstation with integrated cable management via two grommets. The full-length modesty panel supplies privacy for open-plan or reception areas. Buyers requiring built-in storage drawers, a return unit, or a corner configuration should consider other models.

65-inch width confirms fit

The 65-inch overall width is the critical measurement that determines whether this shell matches the available floor space and aligns with other Valencia series components. Verify the 29.5-inch depth and 29.63-inch height against your room plan before ordering.

Questions about this item

Do I need a separate return or bridge unit to create an L-shaped workstation with this 65" desk shell?

Yes, the Valencia straight front desk shell is a single rectangular unit; adding a matching return or bridge from the same series creates an L- or U-shaped layout.

Will the two grommets on this desk shell align with the cable cut-outs on my existing Valencia return?

The grommets are positioned in the rear corners of the 65" work surface, matching the standard Valencia series layout used on returns and bridges.

How can I verify the charcoal accent line and protective edge banding are correctly fitted after assembly?

Inspect the underside front edge of the work surface — the charcoal accent strip should run the full 65" width and the PVC edge banding should be flush with no gaps along all exposed edges.
