Credenza Shell for Flexible Layouts

This Alera Valencia credenza shell provides a 70.88" wide worksurface in Modern Walnut woodgrain laminate. The commercial-grade top and side panels resist water, scratches and dents. A distinctive charcoal accent line runs beneath the worksurface and durable edge banding protects the perimeter. It configures in multiple ways to suit changing office needs.

Integration with Desk and Storage Units

Two wire-management grommets keep cables organised when the shell is paired with a desk return, bridge or overhead storage. The 29.63" depth and 23.63" height match standard Valencia components so the unit slots into existing runs without modification. No tools or special brackets are mentioned in the specifications.

Suits Expanding Workstations Not Standalone Desks

Buyers who want a freestanding desk with built-in drawers or a keyboard tray should look elsewhere because this shell supplies only the worksurface and end panels. It serves teams that need a modular credenza to extend a U-shape or L-shape layout and value the durable laminate finish over solid wood.

Questions about this item

What is the depth of the worksurface that determines how much equipment fits before the back edge?

The worksurface is 23.63 inches deep, so monitors and accessories must fit within that measurement from front to back.

How much heat does the laminate surface absorb or radiate when the credenza sits in direct sunlight all day?

The woodgrain laminate finish resists water, scratches and dents but has no published thermal rating; surface temperature will follow ambient conditions.

Which separate components must be purchased to turn this shell into a complete desk with drawers or legs?

The shell includes only the worksurface, side panels, two wire-management grommets and a charcoal accent line; pedestals, legs or storage units are sold separately.
