Reversible Return and Bridge Shell

The Alera ALEVA354824MC is a medium cherry finish shell designed for universal application as either a return or bridge component. It suits professionals building a U-shaped or L-shaped workstation layout that requires flexible orientation on site.

Assembly and Layout Constraints

The unit ships as a shell requiring integration with additional Valencia Series pieces to form a complete desk system. Its reversible design allows left-hand or right-hand placement, but it cannot function as a freestanding desk without connecting hardware and adjacent surfaces.

Work Surface Capacity and Limits

The 47-inch width and 23-inch depth provide room for a monitor, keyboard and reference documents in a standard office workflow. The surface will feel crowded if multiple large displays or bulky peripherals are added, so users needing expansive multi-monitor spans should plan a larger configuration.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the bridge or return configuration for the ALEVA354824MC?

The unit is reversible so it works as either a bridge or a return; orient it left or right to match your desk layout.

What does the 47 inch width mean once the shell is installed?

The 47-1/4 inch span connects a desk and credenza or extends a work surface, giving a continuous top at standard desk height.

How does the Valencia Series mounting interface limit what I can attach?

Pre-drilled holes accept Alera Valencia pedestals and overheads; other brands may not align without modification.
