  • Tilt tension and lock let you set preferred resistance
  • Removable head and lumbar pillows add adjustable support

Racing-style ergonomics for desk work and gaming

The Alera BT51593GY gaming chair adopts a racing-seat silhouette finished in black and grey trim. It targets users who spend long sessions at a desk, whether gaming, studying or working from home, and want a single chair that covers both roles.

Fixed T-bar arms and adjustable comfort controls

The chair ships with fixed T-bar armrests, pneumatic seat-height adjustment, tilt tension and tilt lock, plus removable head and lumbar pillows. The 135 degree recline lets you lean back for a break, while the synchronized knee-tilt action keeps the seat angle consistent as you rock.

275 lb capacity and no back-height adjustment

The frame is rated for 275 lb, setting a clear upper limit for user weight. The backrest height cannot be raised or lowered, so taller users may find the lumbar zone sits lower than preferred. There is no seat-depth glide, so the seat pan depth stays as built.

Questions about this item

What does the 135° recline limit mean for daily use?

The backrest stops at 135 degrees from upright, letting you lean back for a short rest without tipping over.

What clearance and floor space does the chair need to fit?

Allow room for the five-star base to swivel and the T-bar arms to clear the desk edge; measure your doorway width before bringing the box inside.

How is the chair assembled and which step causes the most trouble?

Bolt the base, gas lift, seat, backrest and arms together with the included hardware; the gas-lift insertion into the mechanism is the step most people need to redo.
