Mesh gaming chair for tall users

The Fractal Design Refine Mesh Dark is a high-back computer gaming chair built on a glass fiber reinforced frame with nylon reinforced mesh and cold cured foam. It supports users from 1.65m to 2.0m tall and up to 125kg. The synchro-tilt mechanism moves with the body for ergonomic recline across 13 lockable positions up to 125°.

Synchro-tilt with 13 lockable positions

The single specification that decides fit is the synchro-tilt mechanism offering 13 lockable tilt positions across a 125° adjustable range. This allows the seat and back to move in tandem with the body, providing supported recline for long sessions. Buyers who need a forward tilt lock or a greater recline angle will not find that here.

Quiet hubless casters and breathable mesh

Hubless 65mm soft PU wheels absorb shock and reduce noise on hard floors while protecting surfaces. The breathable adaptive mesh seat and backrest promote airflow during extended use. The chair weighs 25.7kg and requires no external power, operating purely through mechanical adjustment.

Questions about this item

What does the 125 kg maximum weight rating mean for daily use?

The chair is tested to support up to 125 kg, so it will hold most adults safely during long sessions.

How does the synchro-tilt mechanism with 13 lockable positions work in practice?

The seat and back recline together in a fixed ratio, and you can lock the angle at any of the 13 preset positions.

Will the 65 mm hubless casters and 68 cm seat width fit through a standard doorway?

The chair measures 68 cm wide at its broadest point, so it clears most interior doors without disassembly.
