Double-Sided Partition Hook

The Alera CHDBL is a silver steel wire hook designed to slide over cubicle walls, partitions or doors measuring 1 1/2" to 2 1/2" thick. Each pack contains two hooks that add hanging storage for coats, hats, accessories or office items without permanent mounting.

Panel Thickness Limits

The hook fits panels only within the 1 1/2" to 2 1/2" thickness range; thinner or thicker partitions will not hold it securely. Maximum depth extends to 3 1/2" when loaded, so the hook protrudes further into the aisle than its 3 3/8" resting depth.

Two-Hook Pack Quantity

The product ships as a single pack of two hooks, so buyers needing an odd number or a larger quantity must purchase multiple packs. Users requiring permanent wall-mounted hardware or adhesive-backed alternatives will not be served by this friction-fit design.

Questions about this item

Does the two-pack give me one hook per partition or two hooks per partition?

The pack contains two complete double-sided hooks; each hook spans both sides of a single partition, so one pack equips two separate panels.

The hook is rated for "the bulkiest coats" — what does that translate to in everyday use?

The steel wire construction supports heavy winter coats, wet jackets or bags without bending, and the 3 1/2" maximum depth keeps bulky items clear of the panel surface.

My cubicle walls are 2 inches thick — will the 1 1/2" to 2 1/2" range grip them securely?

Yes, a 2-inch panel sits in the middle of the adjustment range, so the hook slides on firmly and stays level without slipping.
