Compact Ceramic Heater for Personal Spaces

The Alera HECT17 is a mini tower ceramic heater designed for focused warmth in small areas. It uses a large ceramic and aluminum heating element paired with a powerful fan to circulate heated air. The unit delivers up to 1500 watts of adjustable heat output for personal comfort.

Simple Placement with Built-In Safeguards

Operation begins by positioning the heater on a stable, level surface and plugging it into a standard outlet. The oscillating function distributes warmth across a wider angle without manual adjustment. Overheat auto-shutoff and a tip-over safety switch cut power automatically if the unit gets too hot or falls. The plastic housing stays cool to the touch during use.

Ideal for Supplemental Room Heating

This heater suits anyone needing portable, supplemental heat for a desk, bedroom or small office. The 17-inch height allows it to fit on floors or tabletops without dominating the space. Buyers who require whole-room central heating or high-capacity output for large open areas should consider a different class of appliance.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the heater is operating correctly once I plug it in?

The unit should begin blowing warm air when the thermostat is set above room temperature, the oscillation function moves the tower side to side, and the housing remains cool to the touch.

What comes with the heater and what must I purchase separately?

The package contains the mini tower heater only; no extra accessories or mounting hardware are included, and no separate items are required for standard operation.

Which version of the HECT17 should I choose for a small room?

The HECT17 is offered as a single 17-inch black model with a 1500-watt ceramic element, so there are no alternate capacities or colours to select.
