Industrial wire shelving unit

The Alera SW58-3618SR provides two silver wire shelves measuring 36w x 18d for organising supplies in a home or small-business office. Each carton delivers both shelves ready for assembly on compatible uprights. Buyers who need closed cabinets or drawer units should look elsewhere.

Compatibility check before ordering

Verify that your existing shelving uprights accept 36-inch wide by 18-inch deep wire decks and that the shelf clips or brackets match the Alera design. Confirm the overall height clearance in your space accommodates the installed shelves. Buyers with metric-only racking systems cannot use this imperial-sized deck.

Two shelves per carton change

Receiving two shelves in one carton lets you add a full level of storage or replace a damaged pair without ordering multiple boxes. The silver finish matches other Alera wire components for a consistent appearance. No tools or fasteners are included, so keep the original hardware from your frame.

Questions about this item

Does the carton contain the complete shelving frame or only the two extra wire shelves?

The carton includes two extra wire shelves measuring 36w x 18d in silver finish; the uprights and frame are sold separately.

When should I choose the 36w x 18d size instead of a different width or depth?

Choose the 36w x 18d shelves when your existing Alera uprights are spaced for 36-inch width and 18-inch depth bays.

How much weight can each 36w x 18d shelf hold once installed on the uprights?

Each shelf supports the standard Alera wire-shelf load rating when properly seated on the matching uprights.
