Industrial wire shelving unit

The Alera SW58-3624BL is a two-shelf wire storage unit finished in black. It measures 36 inches wide by 24 inches deep, matching the dimensions given in the supplier data. This component is designed for industrial or home-office environments where open-air shelving is preferred.

Suits open storage needs

Buyers needing visible, ventilated storage for boxes, tools or supplies will find the wire construction practical. The two-shelf layout limits vertical stacking, so anyone requiring multiple tiered levels or enclosed cabinet space should look at alternative configurations.

Two shelves per carton

The carton contains exactly two shelves, which is the single specification that determines whether the quantity matches the project scope. Verify that two levels satisfy the planned layout before ordering.

Questions about this item

How do I assemble the Alera SW58-3624BL wire shelving unit?

Slide the 36w x 24d shelves over the corner posts at the desired height and secure each corner with the included plastic clips. The step often missed is snapping all four clips per shelf before loading any weight.

What maintenance or replacement will the Alera SW58-3624BL shelves need over time?

The black epoxy coating resists rust, but inspect the wire decks periodically for chips or bending; replace any shelf that shows permanent deflection or coating damage to keep the unit stable.

What limit appears first when the Alera SW58-3624BL is heavily loaded for long periods?

The 36w x 24d wire decks will begin to deflect permanently if the load is concentrated in the centre; spread items evenly across the shelf and toward the posts to maximise usable capacity.
