The Alera VA51-3622MY Valencia lateral file provides two wide drawers for letter or legal hanging folders. Its 34-inch width suits open-plan offices or private workspaces needing high-density filing. The mahogany finish with charcoal accent coordinates with matching Valencia series components for a cohesive professional look.

Simple Placement With Optional Built-In Use

The unit arrives assembled and functions immediately as a freestanding cabinet. For credenza integration, the top removes to allow installation under a worksurface; the credenza shell is sold separately. Two fold-away safety keys are included to maintain a slim profile when locked. No special tools are required for the top removal or standard positioning.

Holds Standard Folders With Room for Expansion

Two full-extension drawers accommodate side-by-side hanging files across the 34-inch interior width. Sturdy four-sided drawer construction with a separate front panel resists water, scratches and dents during daily use. Capacity scales with folder thickness; extremely high-volume archives may require additional lateral units or a taller cabinet configuration.
