Compact 7-Pad Kit for Young Beginners

This Alesis electronic drum set packs 3 toms, snare, hi-hat, ride, crash and two pedals into a roll-up pad weighing 1.69 pounds. It runs on a built-in 2000mAh battery for up to 10 hours and includes dual stereo speakers with 10 volume levels plus a 3.5mm headphone for silent practice.

Suits Children Starting Drums Ages 5-9

The lightweight frame and simple layout work well for kids aged 5 to 9 learning basic coordination. It is not for players who need full-size pads, mesh heads, advanced sound editing or a module with extensive kit libraries.

Check Power and Connection Needs Before Buying

Ensure you have a USB port or charger for the 2000mAh battery and a 3.5mm jack for the included headphones. Verify space for the 43.1cm length when unrolled and confirm the USB MIDI jack matches your computer or mobile adapter.

Questions about this item

Does the kit include everything a beginner needs to start playing right away?

Yes, the box contains the 7-pad roll-up drum, two foot pedals, a pair of drumsticks, a 3.5 mm wired headphone, power and audio cables, and the manual.

Can I keep using my existing 3.5 mm headphones instead of the supplied pair?

Absolutely — the headphone jack accepts any standard 3.5 mm plug, so your own headphones will work for silent practice.

How do I confirm the built-in battery is charging and holding a full 10-hour charge?

Plug in the supplied power cable; the unit’s indicator shows charging status, and a full charge should deliver up to 10 hours of continuous play.
