Drywall Sanding Sheets for Finishing Work

This five-pack of 4-1/4 by 11-1/4 inch sheets fits common pole sanders and hand blocks. Sharp silicon carbide grain cuts fast and leaves a smooth surface on joint compound. Advanced resin bonding locks the abrasive to the paper for longer life. Grit 100 suits intermediate sanding between coats.

Check Tool Compatibility Before Buying

Verify that your drywall sander accepts 4-1/4 by 11-1/4 inch pre-cut sheets. Confirm the notching pattern matches your tool's clamping mechanism. These sheets are not compatible with hook-and-loop or adhesive-backed sanding systems. Buyers needing different dimensions or grit grades must select another product.

Low Dust and Consistent Cut in Normal Use

Silicon carbide produces less loading than aluminium oxide on plaster and drywall dust. The resin bond holds grain securely during hand or pole sanding. No motor, fan or power draw is involved; noise and heat depend entirely on the user's technique and the tool employed.

Questions about this item

Does the pack include the sanding pole or only the five pre-cut sheets?

The carded pack contains five 4-1/4 x 11-1/4 inch silicon-carbide sheets with notched ends; a sanding pole or holder is not included.

When should I choose the 100-grit sheets instead of a finer grade?

Grit 100 removes joint compound quickly and levels seams; switch to a higher grit only for the final skim before paint.

How does the silicon-carbide grain perform on dried compound in a real job?

Sharp silicon-carbide cuts fast and leaves a smooth surface, while the resin bond keeps the grain locked to the paper through extended sanding.
