Gatorgrit 1500 grit sanding sheets

Gatorgrit 1500 grit sheets measure 9 by 11 inches and come in a five pack for wet or dry sanding. The mirror fine abrasive produces a smooth finish on paint, clear coat and other surfaces. Waterproof backing lets you use water or solvent lubrication without the paper breaking down. DIYers and professionals use them for final prep before polishing or buffing.

Works with hand blocks or orbital sanders

The sheets attach to standard hand sanding blocks or hook and loop orbital pads without modification. Wet sanding reduces dust and keeps the cutting surface clear for consistent results. Dry sanding works for quick touch ups when water is not practical. The pack supplies enough sheets for multiple panels or repeated colour sanding steps.

Questions about this item

How does the 1500 grit surface hold up during extended wet-sanding sessions?

The 1500 grit waterproof sheets resist clogging and maintain cutting action when used with water or lubricant for prolonged finishing work.

Do the 9 by 11 inch sheets generate noticeable heat when sanding by hand for long periods?

Hand sanding with these flexible sheets produces minimal heat buildup because the abrasive cuts efficiently without excessive pressure.
