Two-port 40W GaN charger

The ALOGIC WCG2X40-US is a compact wall charger built on gallium-nitride technology that delivers up to 40 watts of total power through two USB-C ports. It suits travellers and desk users who want a single brick for a phone and a tablet or ultraportable laptop.

30W single-port headroom

One port can supply up to 30 watts via Power Delivery when used alone, enough for fast phone charging or maintaining a lightweight notebook. When both ports are active the 40-watt budget is shared, so a high-draw laptop will charge more slowly or not at all.

Foldable US prongs and white finish

The unit plugs directly into a North American outlet with fold-flat pins, leaving adjacent sockets free. Its white plastic housing matches common device aesthetics and the GaN construction keeps the charger smaller and cooler than equivalent silicon designs.

Questions about this item

Will the 40 W total output still give my older phone a safe charge when I plug it in alongside a newer device?

Yes, the charger negotiates the correct voltage for each device, so an older phone draws only what it supports while the second port delivers up to 30 W PD to the other device.

How can I confirm both ports are delivering power after I plug the unit into the wall?

Each connected device will show its charging indicator, and the charger’s internal circuitry balances the 40 W budget between the two ports automatically.

Does the white Rapid Power unit come with any cables, or do I need to buy USB-C cables separately?

The box contains only the GaN wall charger; USB-C cables for your devices must be purchased separately.
