Alpine iLX-507 Bundle Overview

This bundle combines an Alpine iLX-507 7-inch multimedia receiver with two pairs of R-Series coaxial speakers. It is designed for drivers who want a complete audio upgrade with wireless smartphone integration and high-resolution sound in a single package.

Power Handling and Frequency Range

Each speaker pair handles 100 Watts RMS and 300 Watts peak power, providing ample headroom for loud, clean playback driven by the receiver's built-in amplifier. The shared 65Hz-40kHz frequency response covers deep bass through extended treble, though the 65Hz low-end limit means sub-bass enthusiasts will need a separate subwoofer.

Construction and Installation Implications

Both speaker models feature glass-fiber reinforced cones and Hi-Res Audio certification, indicating rigid, lightweight diaphragms for accurate transient response. The 6.5-inch and 6x9-inch form factors fit standard factory locations in many vehicles, allowing a straightforward swap without custom fabrication for compatible door and rear deck openings.
