A 9-inch floating display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Hi-Res audio up to 96 kHz/24-bit, 13-band parametric EQ, and dash-cam compatibility
The Alpine iLX-F509 is a 1-DIN digital media receiver built around a 9-inch adjustable floating screen. It targets drivers who want a large touch interface without a double-DIN cut-out. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connect a smartphone without cables, while Bluetooth handles calls and audio streaming.
The unit plays Hi-Res files at 96 kHz / 24-bit and provides a 5-band graphic EQ plus a 13-band parametric EQ per channel. Six-channel time correction aligns the sound stage to the front centre of the cabin, and Media Xpander restores detail in compressed tracks.
An external microphone is included for clearer voice commands and hands-free calls. The receiver is SiriusXM-Ready, has built-in HD Radio, and supports iDatalink Maestro for vehicle integration. Optional accessories add a KTX-NS01 navigation module or Alpine DVR-C320R dash cam.

The 1-DIN sleeve bolts into the dash opening and the adjustable arm clamps the 9 inch screen; the step often missed is tightening the pivot bolts after setting the viewing angle so the display does not shift under vibration.
The external microphone and its cable should be checked for wear or loose connections, and the adhesive mount may need renewing if it loses grip.
The 13-band parametric EQ per channel and 6-channel time correction demand continuous processing; sustained Hi-Res audio at 96 kHz 24-bit can hit the DSP thermal limit, causing the unit to throttle output until it cools.
