Camping Bowl 500 ml

This collapsible silicone bowl holds 500 millilitres and comes with a fitted lid. It is made for campers and backpackers who need a lightweight eating vessel that packs flat. The round green bowl measures 4.72 by 3.35 inches when expanded. It suits solo meals on the trail or at the campsite.

Thermals and Cleaning

The silicone construction withstands microwave heating and dishwasher cycles without warping. It is also safe for freezer storage, so leftovers keep cold overnight. No special care is required beyond a normal wash before first use. The material does not retain odours or flavours after cleaning.

Lid and Portability

A snap-on lid with an integrated eyelet lets you hang the bowl from a pack or clip it to a carabiner. When collapsed the bowl drops to roughly 3.3 centimetres tall, sliding into tight gear spaces. The lid seals well enough to prevent spills during transport. Buyers who need a larger serving capacity or a rigid bowl for heavy chopping will find this model too small.

Questions about this item

How do I collapse the 4.72 x 3.35 inch bowl and what step do people skip?

Push the sidewalls down evenly until the bowl lies flat at 3.302 cm high; the step most people miss is washing it with warm soapy water before the first use.

What part will need replacement first on the Medium Green bowl?

The silicone body resists heat, cold and dishwasher cycles, so no component is expected to wear out under normal camping use.

What is the first limit you hit when using the 500 ml bowl continuously over a camp stove?

The 500 millilitre capacity is the limiting factor; you must refill before you can heat or serve another portion.
