This bundle combines a pair of Alpine R2-S652 6.5" component speakers with a pair of R2-S65 6.5" coaxial speakers. Both sets use glass-fibre reinforced cones for accurate mid-bass reproduction. The component set adds separate magnesium hard-dome tweeters with flush or on-dash mounting options. The coaxial set integrates its tweeters directly into the woofer frame for simpler fitment.

Critical specification

The component speakers include flexible PRO X-Over networks that let you tune crossover points and tweeter levels, while the coaxial speakers rely on fixed integrated networks. Choose the component pair for front-stage imaging control and the coaxial pair for rear fill where adjustment is not required.

Installation notes

The component woofers use die-cast aluminium baskets and the coaxial woofers use composite baskets, both sized for standard 6.5" door openings. Tweeter mounting depth and grille clearance vary by vehicle; verify space behind the door panel before cutting. Incorrect crossover wiring on the component set can damage the tweeters, so follow the supplied network diagrams carefully.
