Altatac Alta-Bag 10L Orange Waterproof Dry Bag

The Altatac Alta-Bag is a 10 litre waterproof backpack built from heavy-duty 500D PVC composite fabric. It uses a roll-top closure to seal out water, sand, dust, mud and snow. An adjustable, detachable shoulder strap allows it to be carried as a backpack or a single-strap bag. A splash-proof outer zip pocket keeps small essentials within quick reach.

For paddlers and campers needing compact dry storage

This bag suits kayakers, boaters, hikers and campers who want a lightweight 10 litre pack to protect phones, clothing or electronics from immersion and spray. Buyers who need more than 10 litres of capacity should consider the 20 litre version. Users requiring a fully submersible closure rated for prolonged immersion or a rigid internal frame for heavy loads will not find those features here.

10 litre main compartment with roll-top seal

The main compartment holds roughly 10 litres of gear such as a change of clothes, a compact sleeping bag liner or daily electronics. The roll-top design provides reliable waterproofing for rain, splashes and brief submersion. The external zip pocket adds splash-proof space for keys or snacks but is not rated for full immersion. Capacity is limited to the stated 10 litres; longer expeditions needing bulkier equipment will require a larger pack.

Questions about this item

What strap setup comes with the Altatac Alta-Bag 10L for carrying it as a backpack?

A detachable and adjustable shoulder strap is included so you can wear it as a backpack or remove the strap when you only need the dry bag.

Will the roll-top seal on the 10L Alta-Bag still close properly if I also use the outer splash-proof zip pocket for small items?

Yes, the roll-down top seal works independently of the outer zip pocket, so you can access the splash-proof pocket without breaking the main waterproof closure.

How can I confirm the 500D PVC material on my orange 10L Alta-Bag is keeping water out after I seal it?

Submerge the sealed bag briefly in shallow water; if no moisture appears inside the main compartment the roll-top and welded seams are working as intended.
