Eight outputs with fire-alarm disconnect

The ALTRONIX AL1024ULACMCB converts 115 V AC at 60 Hz into eight independently controlled 24 V DC Class 2 power-limited outputs rated for a total of 10 A continuous current. Each output is PTC protected and can be configured as fail-safe or fail-secure. The fire-alarm disconnect is individually selectable for any or all outputs and accepts normally open, normally closed or polarity-reversal inputs from a fire-alarm control panel.

Replaces fused multi-output supplies

The PTC-protected design removes the need to replace blown fuses after a short circuit or overload, reducing maintenance on access-control installations. The unit mounts on a wall and occupies a 15.5 by 12.2 by 4.5 inch enclosure weighing approximately 11.75 lb. Upgrading from a fused equivalent is worthwhile when service calls for fuse replacement are frequent or when latching and non-latching fire-alarm disconnect must be mixed on the same panel.

Ten-amp headroom for mag locks and strikes

The 10 A capacity comfortably runs multiple mag locks, electric strikes and magnetic door holders simultaneously across the eight outputs. An alarm relay with a form C contact rated at 1 A and 28 V DC signals when the fire-alarm input is triggered. The supply reaches its limit when the combined load exceeds 10 A or when a single output draws more than its Class 2 rating, so systems requiring higher current per output or more than eight zones need additional power supplies.
