PoE Transceiver for Single Camera

The ALTRONIX PACE1PTM is a Power over Ethernet transceiver designed to connect one PoE camera or IP device to a router or other network equipment. It provides a compact plastic housing that measures 3 1/2 inches wide, 3 1/2 inches deep and 1 inch high, making it easy to fit into tight enclosures or wall spaces.

Suits Simple One-Camera Setups

This unit suits installers who need to power a single camera from a central switch without running separate power cables. Builders who require multiple camera inputs or need a transceiver that supports additional network ports should look at a different product.

Stable Power Delivery Over Distance

Under sustained load the transceiver maintains consistent power to the connected camera across the Ethernet run. The plastic enclosure dissipates heat passively during continuous operation, avoiding thermal throttling that could interrupt the video feed.

Questions about this item

Which router or PoE switch must I already have to power the PACE1PTM?

The transceiver is designed for use with a router, PoE cameras, IP devices or other network equipment that can supply Power over Ethernet on a compatible port.

Will my existing non-PoE cameras still function if I keep them on the same network?

The unit provides a single PoE camera input, so non-PoE cameras would need their own power source and cannot draw power through this transceiver.

How can I confirm the PACE1PTM is passing data and power to the camera after installation?

Check that the camera powers up and appears on the network; the transceiver itself has no status indicators, so camera connectivity is the primary sign of correct operation.
