Child-safe listening

These volume-limiting wired headphones are built for children aged three and up. A single-piece EVA foam frame is non-toxic, BPA-free and nearly indestructible. Conforming leather ear pads and an included snap-on headband pad give a comfortable, snug fit for smaller heads. Sound output never exceeds 85 decibels to protect young ears.

Simple universal connection

The 3.5mm mini-phone jack plugs straight into smartphones, tablets, laptops, computers, gaming devices, MP3 players and ereaders. No batteries, pairing or drivers are required so the headphones work immediately with any device that has a standard headphone port. The lightweight foam construction makes them easy to pack in a backpack for school or travel.

Fixed 85 dB ceiling

Audio is capped at 85 decibels, giving ample volume for music, videos and games while preventing harmful peaks. The limit is hardware-enforced and cannot be overridden, so parents do not need to monitor levels. The trade-off is that louder environments may mask detail and the headphones cannot serve users who need higher output.

Questions about this item

Will the 85 dB cap stay active if the headphones are used continuously all day?

Yes, the volume-limiting circuit is hard-wired to keep output at or below 85 decibels no matter how long the headphones are played.

Do the foam body and leather pads stay cool and quiet during extended wear?

The single-piece EVA foam frame and conforming leather ear pads are designed for long sessions without heat build-up or audible driver noise.

Must the device already have a 3.5 mm jack for these headphones to work?

A standard 3.5 mm port on the smartphone, tablet, laptop or other source is required; no other connection is supported.
