Adjustable jar opener with wood handle grips lids from 0.4 to 4.1 inches using anti-slip rubber teeth and stainless steel construction
This manual jar opener adjusts from 0.4 to 4.1 inches to fit most screw-top lids. It is designed for seniors, arthritis sufferers and anyone with limited grip strength who needs reliable leverage without electric power.
The stainless-steel teeth rely on dry anti-slip rubber to hold the lid edge; oil or moisture on the pad causes slippage. The tool cannot grip lids smaller than 0.4 inches or larger than 4.1 inches, and it provides no assistance for vacuum-sealed or child-safety caps.
Adjust the clips to the lid diameter, pinch the side clips to lock the teeth, then rotate the wooden handle counter-clockwise. The only common issue is a contaminated rubber pad, which is fixed by removing the pad, washing off oil, drying it thoroughly and refitting before the next use.
