What this drive does

The Amaryllo Artemis combines a 32GB USB 2.0 flash drive with 200GB of included cloud storage. Files saved to the stick are automatically backed up to the cloud when the drive is plugged into a computer. AES encryption is provided for local data protection. It suits users who want portable file transfer plus continuous off-site backup without managing separate services.

Installation and common issues

The drive uses a standard USB Type-A connector and requires no driver installation on modern operating systems. Auto-backup begins once the companion software is set up and the device is inserted. Because the interface is USB 2.0, initial uploads of large batches will be slower than on faster interfaces. Users should verify that the backup client is running before removing the drive to avoid incomplete transfers.

Practical limits of USB 2.0 and cloud backup

The USB 2.0 interface caps local transfer speeds well below those of USB 3.0 or newer standards, so moving multi-gigabyte files to the drive takes noticeably longer. Cloud synchronisation speed then depends entirely on the available internet upload bandwidth, not the drive itself. The 32GB local capacity limits how much data can be carried offline at once. Buyers needing faster local writes or larger onboard storage should consider other options.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 32 GB drive is syncing files to the 200 GB cloud after I plug it in?

When Artemis is inserted into a USB 2.0 port the auto-backup feature moves your portable files to the Amaryllo Cloud; you can then open the cloud app on any computer or smartphone to verify the files have arrived.

What comes with the Artemis and what must I provide myself?

The package includes the metal-cased 32 GB USB 2.0 flash drive with 200 GB of Amaryllo Cloud storage; you only need a device with a USB 2.0 port and an internet connection for the cloud sync.

Should I choose the 32 GB local capacity or rely on the 200 GB cloud capacity for my workflow?

The 32 GB USB 2.0 drive gives you immediate offline access and triggers automatic backup to the 200 GB cloud, so you get fast local transfer plus larger remote storage in one device.
